Padel center

Match Padel center, Silkeborg

The exclusive and modern padel centre in Silkeborg has 7 doubles courts with the official Mondo World Padel Tour surface. The impressive facility has 10-metre ceilings and is an attractive club with its modern facilities and space for socialising. Events, training and tournaments are held here.

The interior design of Match Padel, Silkeborg is part of the overall project at Kejlstrupvej 87, Silkeborg with Institut Thomey and Selected Car Group.

The challenge

Match Padel wanted cosy lounge areas where members could hang out before and after matches. The furniture also had to be flexible and be able to be moved around to form a spectator row around court 1 during tournaments. The style had to be contemporary and encourage community around the centre. In addition, the durability of the products was important as they would be subjected to a lot of wear and tear and many users.

They wanted a cohesive design between the different companies at the same address.

Our approach

We create safe and comfortable spaces outside home and away from work. Spaces that build on strong identity and powerful character. Where form and function provide users with the ideal space and surroundings to enjoy life.

Nothing is more important to us than to create an authentic space that generates atmosphere, joyful living and a true sense of belonging.

The process

The solution

For the large lounge areas in the padel centre, we chose large, floating sofas in a highly durable upholstery. Whether you want to watch matches or relax after a game, the sofas make it easy for members to find a seat. The sofas are made up of flexible modular units, so several long sofas have been built around the centre.

The many large sofas make good use of the centre's area, allowing larger events to be held.

The furniture is kept in muted colours to make the interior of the padel centre more luxurious while matching the raw concrete surfaces.

Customised bar

To complement the exclusive design, a custom-made bar counter has been produced to fit into the padel centre. Its positioning makes it ideal for serving the different lounge areas while allowing staff to have a good overview from the bar.

Lockers and lounge area complete the functionality

The changing room is equipped with lockers. Here, members can safely lock up their belongings while they focus on their game. They can also get ready to head off to work, school or evening events after training.

At the entrance is the B&O lounge with kitchen and dining areas. Here you can meet or dine, giving members of the centre more opportunities to use the building's facilities.
